Student. Sister. Writer. Photographer. Makeup enthusiast. Polyglot. Weightlifter.

I’m a third-year Media and Journalism student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in Korean. My concentration is in strategic communications, however I’ve also taken coursework in public policy and global studies. I enjoy creating verbal and visual content, and everyday I try to get better at each!

I’m a sister of  alpha Kappa Delta Phi and the experiences that I’ve had in the sorority so far heavily impacted my project choice. I’ve been to Spain, Nigeria, and South Korea and hope to someday travel to every corner of the world. Experiencing various cultures and learning their languages has taught me to be a more effective communicator and to use more than just words to express myself. Joining a multicultural sorority has been an every-day way to push myself outside my comfort zone and consistently put myself in a position to learn more about myself and others.

Besides Korean, I am learning or proficient in the following languages:

  • Spanish
  • French
  • Igbo

Since attending UNC, I’ve spent my summers studying jurisprudence in Seoul, shadowing at a photography studio in Gangnam, representing my sorority in Los Angeles, and learning about the hospitality industry at Horwath HTL in Atlanta.

My hobbies include watching YouTube videos for hours on end, doing my makeup just to stay home,
going out dancing with my one (1) friend, and powerlifting.
